On the water training & Lectures.

Required Equipment/Material:

You don’t need to have ANY experience as a Canoeist to participate fully in the Intro course. Also, you don’t need to own a boat, a paddle, or a Life Jacket to take any of the Canoeing courses, PNL will supply these items for the school.

Waivers: At the pond session candidates will be asked to complete a waiver form which is required by Paddle Canada for insurance purposes.

What you should bring for the on the water sessions:

Rain gear - Paddle (if you have your own)
Life Jacket (if you have your own) - boat (if you have your own)
Lunch/Snacks/Liquids – Sunglasses - Brimmed Hat/Bandana - Towel
No Jeans Please as they absorb water and take forever to dry.
A complete change of cloths in case you get wet.
Appropriate “wet” footwear (Rubbers, Neoprene Socks, Old Sneakers and change of socks)

Note: You will have to bring your own lunch.
